The Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Dr. Henry Musa Kpaka, today gave Matching Grants worth approximately US$5.8 million to 62 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in agriculture.
The grants are financed under the World Bankāsupported Food System Resilience Program (FSRP) and are targeted at women and youth-led enterprises operating within rice, cassava, poultry, and vegetable value chains nationwide.
Dr. Kpaka encouraged the beneficiaries to utilize the funds effectively to scale up their businesses, improve food production, generate sustainable incomes, and create employment opportunities for other Sierra Leoneans.
